Solar and Photovoltaic Power Generation

The energy of solar energy reaching the earth per second is 1.7*1014kWh. If 0.1% of the solar energy reaching the earth's surface is converted into electrical energy, and the conversion rate is calculated as 5%, the annual power generation can reach 7.4*1013kWh, which is equivalent to 40 times the current world energy consumption.

The utilization of solar energy mainly includes photothermal utilization, photochemical conversion exchange and photovoltaic power generation.

Wp (peak watts) is the unit for calculating the capacity of solar energy installations, and it is the maximum power generation under standard conditions (battery temperature 25°C, air quality AM1.5, spectral irradiance 1000W/m2) with solar cell template sum of quantities.
