Solar Inverters: Off-Grid Inverter, Grid-Tie Inverter and Hybrid Inveter

Grid-Tie inverter
A grid-tie inverter (GTI for short) is a special inverter. In addition to converting DC power into AC power, its output AC power can be synchronized with the frequency and phase of the main power. Therefore, the output AC power Can return to mains. Grid-connected inverters are commonly used in applications where some DC voltage source (such as a solar panel or a small wind turbine) is connected to the grid.

Off Grid Inverter
Off-grid inverter (Off-grid inverter), usually installed on solar panels, small wind turbine generators, or other DC power sources, converts direct current (DC) power into alternating current (AC) power that can be used for home power. It has nothing to do with the mains and does not require any external power source, so it is called "off-grid". Off-grid inverters can also store energy for use at sunset or when there is no electricity. Off-grid inverters perform self-tests in backup generators and batteries to ensure integrity and stability of power quality.

Hybrid Inverter
The hybrid inverter is mainly a name in the photovoltaic storage industry, also known as an energy storage inverter. Its function can not only convert DC power into AC power but also realize the rectification of AC to DC and the voltage and phase between AC and DC itself. ; In addition, the hybrid inverter also integrates intelligent modules such as energy management and data transmission and is an electrical device with high-tech technical content. In the energy storage system, the hybrid inverter connects modules such as photovoltaics, energy storage batteries, loads, and grids, and monitors and manages these modules. It is the heart and brain of the entire energy storage system.
